Father Ed Wade is a member of Companions of the Cross.  After serving in the Marine Corp, he was ordained a Roman Catholic Priest in 1972 for the Diocese of Camden, New Jersey and served as a parish priest for 8 years.  Released by his bishop to work full-time in evangelization; Fr. Ed traveled throughout the US, Canada, England, Ireland, Austria and Yugoslavia giving missions focusing on ministry in the gifts of the Holy Spirit through the Baptism in the Spirit.  Along with Fathers Jim Ferry, George Kosicki, and John Dreher he founded and launched the International Renewal Movement of Priests from the Franciscan University of Steubenville which is in many countries throughout the world. While at Steubenville he assisted the Director of Student Evangelization and spoke at many conferences working in evangelism with the students and Pro-Life activities.

Fr Ed lived in Belfast, North Ireland in an ecumenical community for 3 years seeking unity among Christians in the midst of violence and terror. He served as an Associate Priest of the Madonna House Apostolate in Combermere, Ontario. He is a former Associate Director of the Catholic Charismatic Center in Houston and spoke at many Charismatic conferences and gatherings in the USA, Canada, Argentina, Austria,
Trinidad, England, Ireland. Wales, Scotland, Trinidad and Gibraltar.

Although officially retired, Fr. Ed maintains an active ministry presence in Houston.  His two Facebook sites “The Ring of Fire” and “Ed Wade” focus on the salvation of all souls and Baptism in the Holy Spirit. His  goal is to empower the laity to see this as their time to blossom as lay apostles sent to restore the culture that is becoming more secular and pagan. He is highly inspired by Saint Pope John Paul II and document on the laity called "Christifideles Laici".
